Delta Commissioner, Ekedayen gets Royal From Monarch
The Delta state honourable commissioner for Economic Planning, Sonny Ekedayen, has gotten royal blessings from his Royal Father, H.R.M. Dr. Emmanuel E. Sideso, Abe I, (JP), OON, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, at the Uvwie palace G.R.A, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.
Mr Ekedayen, who was accompanied by Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, the chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Board and others, paid a courtesy visit on the Uvwie monarch.
The visibly elated honourable commissioner, expressed gratitude to the revered traditional ruler for his royal blessings and hospitality. He also thanked his family members, friends and associates who accompanied him and made the visit possible.
Other dignitaries at the event were; Prof Joe Abugu, Hon. Ramson Onoyake, Uvwie Council boss, Chief Francis Arhiyor, the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Delta state branch, Chief Tony Ofoni, Special Adviser to the governor of Delta state, Mr Efe Okoledo, Uvwie PDP chairman, amongst others.
