Delta Government approves Ben Azubuike Kanegede as the Ogene of Ibedeni kingdom
The Delta State Government, has formally approves HRM Ben Azubuike Kanegede as the Ogene of Ibedeni Kingdom in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the state.
In a press briefing after the maiden Delta State Executive Council meeting of the year, held at the Government House Asaba, the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, listed Ben Azubuike Kanegede as one of the traditional rulers approved by the State Executive Council.
By this approval, the state has formally recognized the monarch as the Ogene of Ibedeni Kingdom and staff of office will be presented to him in due time accordingly.
In the same vein, Exco also approved the presentation of staff of office to Obi Chukwunonso Justin Nwoko as the Obi of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Area and Augustine Nzemeke Ezeaguna III, as Obi of Egbudu-Aka Kingdom
